A bear is never to be trifled with, for they are unbelievably strong and vicious animals. Left to his own devices, he is relatively calm, and harmless. He sleeps. He eats. He leaves those who leave him alone.
But a bear that is provoked cannot be escaped from, for you have invaded his home, threatened him and everything around him. You attack, he attacks, not caring for his own life. You run, he runs after you, determined never to allow you to come back again.
